VPN Requirements

To connect to the VM via VMRC you must be on the UF Hosting VPN.

  • You can get the VPN client from https://vpn.ufl.edu
  • To connect to the UF Hosting VPN enter your username as GLID@ufl.edu/cnshosting

Console using hosting Portal

  1. In the https://hosting.it.ufl.edu portal navigate to the Virtual Machine 'Item' you want to console to.
  2. On the VM Item select the 'Get Standalone VMRC Link' action.
  3. Copy the generated URL and paste it into a new browser window.
